He directed the state government to take strict action against the spread of rumors by making false comments on the arrangements made in hospitals to deal with the corona virus.

Kovid-19 hospitals will be set up in 51 medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. In a release issued by the state government on Monday, it was told that video conferencing was done with 24 government and 27 private medical colleges and medical institutions of Uttar Pradesh under the chairmanship of the Minister of Medical Education. According to the release, about 4500 isolation and quarantine beds are currently available in 51 medical colleges for the treatment and prevention of corona virus infection. Instructions have been given to increase it to 11000 within a week. Instructions were given to install at least 20 isolation beds and two ventilators in each medical college and at least 200 isolation beds and 20 ventilators.
According to the release, Uttar Pradesh’s modern capital Kovid Hospital is being set up at SGPGI in Lucknow, in which 210 isolation beds and 80 to 100 ventilators are proposed for high risk patients. According to the release, 13 large (200-bed isolation wards) Kovid hospitals and 38 medium-sized Kovid hospitals are being built in Uttar Pradesh. It said that Kovind hospitals of all private medical colleges will be supervised by the district authorities and binding action will be taken under the Epidemic Act or Penal Procedure Code.
